As each year passes in the NFL, you see your team undergo changes. Contracts come due, players seek the best fit, and so on. Today, the team I root for went through those changes. When OTA's get under way, and when the team reports for camp, there will be a new starting quarterback....but before we usher in the "new", I want to take a minute to properly send off the latter with a bit of a drawn out thank you.
The team at VKNT and I are each thanking one of the three quarterbacks that have recently found new homes among the NFL.
I, somehow was given the tall task of trying to sum up a thank you for Teddy Bridgewater. So let's do this!

When the Vikings hopped back into the 1st round in the '14 draft, I knew it was to bring Teddy Bridgewater to MN, and with the 32nd pick, the Vikings did just that. Bridgewater soon became a fan favorite with his two white gloves (those hamburger helpers...Teddy knows what I'm talking about) and his coolness under pressure on the field. In '15, Bridgewater would help lead the Vikings(11-5) to it's first NFC North title in years, and a playoff berth. Next, the young man would face the biggest comeback of his career. After suffering what was reported as a possible career ending knee injury, Bridgewater would start his climb. We as fans got to witness an incredible journey of character, will, and flat out refusal to give in as Bridgewater took one step after another towards his return. Bridgewater would step back on the field late in the Bengals game(2017), yeah it was mop up duty in a blow out, but more importantly it was moment that a packed U.S. Bank stadium full of Vikings fans, a team, and a young man shared of a journey that had began almost 16 months prior. Today's recent news said Teddy Bridgewater was on his way to the New York Jets, getting the chance to continue a career that at one time was a question mark. So as Bridgewater packs away his purple to dawn a new, we here at vikingnations would like to say thank you Teddy Bridgewater, and good health in whatever you do. We will be watching. #GUMP #CallGod #2Gloves
