The Minnesota Vikings have signed WR Jordan Taylor to a one year deal. Taylor, 27, signed as an undrafted free agent out of Rice to the Denver Broncos. He spent his rookie season on the practice squad before making the 53 man roster in 2016. In two seasons with the Broncos, Taylor hauled in 29 receptions for 351 yards and two touchdowns.

He sat out the 2018 season due to a hip surgery. Taylor returned to practice in November, but he was never activated from the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list. Taylor should be good to go for the 2019 season.

Due to his flowing locks, Taylor earned the nickname “Sunshine.” He quickly became a fan favorite because he was a personal receiver for Manning during rehab. Taylor also caught an extremely acrobatic, Deandre Hopkins--esque, catch during training camp.

Taylor will provide good competition during training camp, and he definitely had a good shot at making the active roster. Welcome to the Vikings, Jordan Taylor.
